CHARACTER: alexei shostakov from the marvel cinematic universe, alias "red guardian". the soviet union's super-soldier. husband figure of melina vostokoff, and surrogate father of natasha romanoff and yelena belova. a loud, amiable brute with a big heart and a tendency towards talking about himself a bit too much.
BACKTAGGING: always yes! i'm pretty slow all the dang time, so i will backtag into forever.
PHYSICAL CONTACT: y e s. alexei is v physically affectionate, so he's all about big burly bear hugs, claps on the shoulder, kisses on the cheek, etc.
MENTAL CONTACT: go for it
FIGHTING/INJURY: extremely yes, he loves a scrap
GENRE INTERESTS: i'm still wildly voicetesting atm, but things i am into: complicated found family feelings and patriotism even when you're being ground under the heel of your motherland. tense undercover missions and strained domesticity back in the ohio days, present-day shenanigans rescuing other widows with the fam, or meeting natasha's supersoldier pals (rogers! barnes! hello!). letting this guy actually apologise and try to be a less-toxic father to his gals. trying to dig some depth into this character: the americans but make it marvel. also on top of all that bittersweet content: just alexei being a ridiculous troll, because he is also a very funny character to write. also totally open to AUs.
